KB-36123: Inserting a third-party ActiveX in Elipse E3.

Question:

How can I install and insert a third-party ActiveX onto an application’s screen?

Solution:

To do so, just follow these steps:

1. Download and install the ActiveX file;
2. On E3 Studio, select “Manage ActiveX…” option on Tools menu;
3. Select the ActiveX and click the OK button;
4. Right-click on a screen, click the Register option and select the ActiveX previously installed.

To configure it, use the HELP file supplied by the developer.
