Can Elipse E3 work as an OPC server, making all tags available to another client? How can it be done?
Solution:
Elipse E3 is a native OPC server. To work properly, the module OPC Server must be enabled in the license.
In case there is no license enabled in the hardkey when a connection is initialized, the OPC Server will not work, and E3’s logs will display the following message:
OPCSVR License not available! Error(80040112)
NOTE: Elipse E3 is also an OPC client, which requires no special license.
