What settings are used to issue commands via a DNP Master driver?
Solution:
Use the following settings in an IOTag:
N1 = 1, N2 = 5, N3 = 1201, N4 = Variable’s address.
Read option must be unchecked, and Control Block Qualifier field must also be set in the extra settings (usually 39 or 40). Check you device’s Device Profile for the correct qualifier. The driver’s manual should also be consulted for this information.
