KB-28384: Remote applications in Elipse SCADA.

Question:

How can I set up a remote application in Elipse SCADA ?

Solution:

First,
make sure there is a PRO license in the client computer, and another license of any type (MMI, PRO, View) in the server computer.

The settings procedure is twofold:

Setting up the Server application: add the Elipse TCP/IP driver, press Set up button, and choose a port (1 to 1024) and a maximum number of connections.
Setting up the Client application: add the same Elipse TCP/IP driver (it doesn’t need to be set up).
Then, add a remote application and select the inserted Elipse
TCP/IP driver. When pressing Set up button, add the same port chosen in the server and a maximum number of connections.

NOTES:

If the operating system is WindowsXP, port 80 may not work properly.
