Demo application: Hobbs meter in Elipse SCADA.

1) Introduction

This application demonstrates how a Hobbs meter works with the available resources at Elipse SCADA, displaying the device’s partial and total values.

2) Setting up the Hobbs meter

To use the Hobbs meter, you will need to:

1. When turning on the device, issue a command to send CurrentTime to a ram tag.
2. When turning off the device, subtract CurrentTime‘s value from a ram tag called TimeTurnOn.
3. Add the value of Total ram tag to the value obtained previously.
