Question:
When Prodave driver is inserted into the application, an error message is returned.
- In Elipse SCADA, the following message appears on screen: “Failed to load driver DLL ‘c:\temp\prodave.dll'”.
- In Elipse E3, the following message appears on log: “Failed to load driver ‘C:\ProdaveDll.dll’ (LoadLibrary returned error 800700B6)”.
Why does it happen?
Solution:
This error message is displayed whenever the version of Siemens’s Prodave software is not compatible with the version of Windows installed in the computer.
