Question:
Why can’t I run the application and the Viewer anymore through the shortcut pointing to E3Server.exe after it has been updated to version 3.0?
Solution:
In versions equal or higher than 3.0 of E3, its commands (-start, -stop, -viewer, etc) are executed in E3Admin.exe, and not in E3Server.exe, like previous versions.
Example:
“C:Program filesElipse SoftwareElipse E3BinE3Admin.exe” -start “C:E3AppTest.dom” -viewer
