I have two DNP Slave drivers sending data to two different IPs: one of them reads data, and the other one works as backup. When the communication channel is exchanged for the backup IP one, the data saved in this slave is unloaded in the master, which causes an undesirable effect. Can I issue a command that clears this memory before communication is established?
Solution:
Yes; to do so, use the driver’s WARM RESTART command.
