INFO-0002722: E3 Server hangs when OPC driver initializes.

When executing a domain as a service connecting to an OPC server that runs on the same machine (also as a service), E3 Server hangs on initialization.

WORKAROUND

To avoid this kind of behavior, you must configure the OPC client to access the local OPC Server as a remote computer, placing the address of the local machine in OPCDriver’s ServerMachine property as \\machinename (example: \\server1).
