Question:
For security purposes, the server running the internet may sometimes be protected by a proxy server. Since it manages license upgrades automatically, Elipse License Manager needs to access the internet to connect to the Elipse server in order to request and receive this data. So, how can I set up a proxy server at Elipse License Manager?
Solution:
To set up a proxy server, access Settings window (top right corner), enable Use a proxy server option, and fill in the names of the server or IP and port. You can also set up a user and a password to access the proxy server; to do so, fill in User and Password fields.
Example:
To check the settings, click Connection Test; a message indicating the connection to the proxy server was established is then displayed.
