Quality control in Elipse’s software.

1) Introduction

Providing a solution to the customer’s problems is just as important as producing this solution at the highest quality standards. Planning and executing software programs are not easy tasks, and they involve full control of the production processes, from their specifications to the installation in the client.

With this goal, Elipse Software will thoroughly follow the developing project, while checking the process’ effectiveness and the quality of the project being generated.

2) Projecting systems

The quality of Elipse’s products begins at the moment of our systems’ specification, project, and analysis. At this point, our 25-year experience in the automation and control field, combined to a continuous interaction with our clients and the market in general, will reflect our company’s know-how. This leads to a constant improvement and updating of our software products, aiming at providing the best possible solution to our customers’ demands.

In addition, we are fully aware of the possibilities and the capacity of the development process, which is reflected in the compliance with costs and deadlines.

Completing this stage in the process is the object-oriented projects methodology. This concept is now unanimously well regarded in this industry for its innumerous advantages, among which is the modularity of the projected software. This allows an easy, quick evaluation of its specificities and the quality of implementation.

3) Development tools

Elipse Software will always use the most modern and efficient tools available in the market. The company is a Microsoft Certified Partner, a title we received in 1999 in recognition for the excellence of our work with Microsoft technology, like Microsoft Visual C++ and its development tool package.

In addition to Microsoft’s products, we also have many other tools to improve the development process, such as automatic code testers and checkers, project management tools, and many others.

This is all tied up to a development methodology that aims at correcting and evaluating results in all its processes and sub-processes, including source review, specific area and platform tests, and implementation standards.

4) Technical support

Alongside the project and the implementation, we have several support and documentation resources available for the users. Our technical support team has highly qualified professionals, with a deep knowledge on our clients’ businesses; we also offer an extensive library with sample applications of several different areas, technical reports on specific subjects, FAQs, Internet forums, courses, etc.

This ensures our clients’ satisfaction during the entire process, from their first contact with our products until their Elipse-based system has been implemented and fully employed.
