Question:
Why can’t I run and compile scripts (via E3 Studio) in my computer? When I issue the ‘compile’ message, no message is displayed in the message box below the script; when I run the application, none of its scripts work.
Solution:
To fix this, follow these procedures:
- Check if VbScript.dll file is in “C:\Windows\System32” folder;
- After you have found this file, go to Start -> Run, and write the following command (with the file’s proper path): regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\VbScript.dll
Notes:
- If VbScript.dll file is non-existent, you should reinstall your operational system;
- If you are using Windows Vista or higher, you must run the command via prompt, as an Administrator (by right-clicking on the prompt and then using the option Run as Administrator).
