Question:
When I try to open a screen with an E3Alarm or an E3Browser on it, it does not open properly, and its display reads exactly like an internet browser that did not find a certain page. Why does this occur?
Solution:
This happens because the ActiveX objects (E3Browser and E3Alarm) are not registered, which can be seen by checking the E3 logs:
Load failed, class ‘E3Browser’ is not registered!
27/11/2009 02:53:39.511 LOADCONTEXT(000005A0,000005A4) LoadLib() Error 0x8002801d
To fix the problem, you must execute the register.bat file, which you can find at “C:\Program Files\Elipse E3\Bin” folder.
