KB-31609: Report’s Data Field displaying sum of a column’s values.

Question:

How can I set up a Report’s Data Field to display the sum of the column’s values of a Database’s table?

Solution:

To do so, follow these procedures:

1. Insert a GroupFooter in the Report.
2. Copy the Data Field corresponding to the column with the values to be summed.
3. Paste the Data Field into the GroupFooter, and set up the following properties:

• SummaryFunc – 0 ddSFSum
• SummaryGroup – GroupHeader1
• SummaryRunning – 1ddSRGroup
• SummaryType – 3-ddSMSubTotal
