How can I use the driver to visualize the communication status?
Solution:
In the driver’s folder, there is an icon called TagBrowser. This object has several I/O drivers from the IOKit. In this folder, insert the tag IO.PhysicalLayerStatus from General folder. At runtime, this tag will return the following values:
- 0 = Stopped
- 1 = Disconnected
- 2 = Connected
