Question:
Why does a script created in a tag’s OnValueChange event run only when the tag is displayed on screen? How can I work around this issue and make the script run even if the tag is not being used in the screen?
Solution:
To do so, you must access the Organizer, then go to Alarms tab and check the option Keep the tag always updated. This causes the tag value to remain updated even on screens where there’s no reference to it.
