Question:
The Viewer cannot fina all servers when using a NAT between Viewer and Server when in HotStandby. How can I fix this?
Solution:
This can be fixed via /USERSERVERS parameter on a command line. This feature has been possible in E3 since version 3.0 build 416.
-useservers or /useservers: This option forces the Viewer to try to connect only to servers specified on the command line. If this option is absent (default behavior), the Viewer will try to find alternative servers if it cannot connect to the servers passed on the command line. This option will only work on a local network, and it muts therefore be informed if the server being searched by the Viewer is outside the local network.
Example: Viewer [server_name] –useservers
