Question:
What is the best way to create 500 different Displays on screen? Can I do this automatically, or only manually?
Solution:
To do so, there are two possibilities:
- At runtime, use AddObject method to add these Displays. However, you will have to execute this script every time the application starts, because the objects added at runtime cannot be saved.
- Create a Display in E3Studio, with all the necessary settings and links. Then, export this object to an Excel spreadsheet, edit the spreadsheet by adding the other 499 Displays and their links, and import this file back in your application.
