Question:
On an application, the ShutdownWindows() function was set with the parameter 4 configured, in order to restart the computer and close the applications, but it only stops the application when there is a configuration hardkey. Why does this occur?
Solution:
This is the normal behavior on Elipse SCADA.
When there is a configuration hardkey connected to the computer, this command only stops the application. When there is a runtime hardkey, it stops the application and restarts the computer.
