There are different types of installers for Elipse SCADA CE, depending on its license type. The two versions available are: demo and full.
When installing it, you must check the hardware platform being use. Currently, Elipse SCADA CE is only available on the following platforms, running Windows CE operating systems from 3.0 to 5.0 versions:
- HPC2000 ARM
- HPC2000 X86
- HPC2000 MIPS
- Pocket ARM
To identify the platform in your device, as well as which version of Windows CE is installed, check the Control Panel’s System option. To do so, access Start–Settings–Control Panel, and double click System. Platform type is then displayed at Processor Type field.
This information must be passed to Elipse Software when purchasing your Elipse SCADA CE license, so that the full version of the software is released fully able to operate on this platform.
