OVERVIEW
From the moment a new field (already recorded in the database) is added to an E3Storage, its set-up can no longer be updated. This happens to keep a new field from being inserted in the database, for example, but it also keeps changes in existing fields to be applied (like changes in a field’s dead band).
WORKAROUND
To get around this problem, the new field must be removed from E3Storage’s configuration. If you need to create new fields, you will have to also create a new E3Storage.

Elipse Software has confirmed that this is in fact a bug from the products listed by the end of this article. The correction download is here.
