Question:
Why am I not being able to open the Modbus Plus driver?
Solution:
This driver has dependencies. The necessary cards/libraries for the driver must be installed in the computer. According to the driver’s manual:
Manufacturer: AEG Schneider Automation International S.A.S.
Devices: Modicon using a AM-SA85-000 card
Foreword:
Install SA85 board on the computer and set its switches according to AEG’s manual. Install the libraries and call the program Modbus Plus driver Configuration. Create a new adaptor from SA85 family and set Adapter Number as zero. Call Setupand configure the memory’s address according to what has been set in SA85’s jumpers. Connect the card’s cable to the PLC(s). Use MODSOFT program to set the PLC and put it in run mode.
