Question:
How can I increase the number times the E3 tries searching for a hardkey license, since it is not acknowledged when starting the application?
Solution:
When the E3Server starts, it begins starting to acknowledge the hardby. Since the E3Server is a service automatically executed whenever Windows starts, the hardkey may not be acknowledged right away and the number of hardkey reading tries must be increased.
A quick way to increase the number of hardkey reading tries is by using the tool E3 Tweak. To do so, using the Windows Start menu, go to the folder Elipse Software – Elipse E3 and select the program E3 Tweak.
With the program open, go to the E3Server option and the item Define a Number of Hardkey Reading Tries . In the Value field, on the right column, type the desired value. We suggest using 20, so that 20 tries are performed.
