Description:
When accessing an E3 application via browser (IE8), using E3WebViewer, the following message is returned:
Web page error may cause a malfunction.
It is not possible to open an anonymous level security token.
How can I fix it?
Solution:
To do so, follow these procedures:
- Open the application Component Services, by typing
dcomcnfgat the Windows command prompt or accessing Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Component Services. - Right-click the item My Computer in Console Root – Component Services – Computers and open the Properties window.
- In the Default Properties tab, select the Connect option in Default Authentication Level and the Identify option in Default Impersonation Level. These options are available in the frame Default Distributed COM Communication Properties.
