Question:
Can I use E3 WebViewer with the following web browsers: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and/or Google Chrome?
Solution:
Yes, you can.
E3 WebViewer is an ActiveX component that allows an internet browser to behave as an E3 Viewer, which enables users to visualize and control E3 applications via Internet. Therefore, you can view and interact with a plant floor process via an internet browser in any computer on the network that can access E3 Server.
After being installed, the WebViewer will work exactly like the E3 Viewer and download the whole application, Screens and bitmaps included, to the local machine. All E3 Viewer’s functionalities, such as E3Chart and E3Alarm, are supported by WebViewer.
