Question:
How can I communicate with ports COM5, COM6, COM7, etc., since the only options available at the driver’s configuration window are from COM1 to COM4?
Solution:
The options displayed at Port property, on IOKit’s Serial tab, are: COM1, COM2, COM3, and COM4. This can be seen in the picture below:
However, it is possible to use other ports as well. To do so, just type the name of the other COM ports.
