Question:
Is there any method that records the Setpoint’s value in a tag without having to press Enter button?
Solution:
In a Setpoint, the default behavior is pressing Enter to transfer its value to a tag; otherwise, the typed value will not be attributed. This is a Setpoint’s feature for validating values.
To change it, one suggestion would be to add a button to the screen with its TakeFocusOnClick property set as True.
In this case, focus will be off the Setpoint as soon as the button is clicked, thus making the value be attributed and validated the same way it would be if Enter key had been pressed.
