Question:
Why can I only establish connection with a SQL Server Express database locally, and not in a computer other than the one where this DB is running?
Solution:
In this case, the access to the database in the network is probably disabled. To enable it, open the SQL Server Configuration Manager, and go to Start–Configuration Tools menu. Under Network Configuration-Protocols for SQLEXPRESS, enable the option TCP/IP.
