Solution:
The
IOKit is a shared component used by Elipse’s I/O drivers that
implements the default access to its physical level and provides
interfaces to:
- Serial ports
- Modem (via TAPI)
- Ethernet (by using Windows Sockets via TCP/IP or UDP/IP);
- RAS (Remote Access Server).
