Why can’t I import alarms from a .CSV file that were previously exported by E3?
Solution:
When doing so, you must first take some precautions:
- When exporting alarms, you must avoid using diacritics on alarms’ names and sources, because this forces the use of brackets, which can cause conflicts when importing the alarms.
- Exporting alarms separated by areas can cause problems, because the area’s name is set simultaneously with the alarm’s name. So, it is better to export alarms in separated files, one for each area. Before importing the alarms, you must create the area in the project, with the same name of the original area.
