KB-17207: Historic graph not plotting data separated by a dot.

Why are Block or I/O Tag’s values (separated by a dot and recorded in a Historic) not being plotted in a Historic Graph?

Solution:

This happens because, depending on your Windows language settings, the system does not understand dots as decimal place separators, and then values are interpreted as integers.

To fix this, follow these procedures:

1. Leave Historic tags as Double (Real64).
2. Update the Historic and close SCADA.
3. Go to Start–Control Panel–Clock, Language, and Region. Select Region and Language, and then Change the date, time, or number format. On Formats tab, click Additional Settings, and go to Numbers tab. On Decimal symbol, substitute the comma for the dot.
