Detecting the hardkey only in the virtual machine <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Access <b>Virtual Machine&#8211; Removable Devices&#8211; aladdin Knowledge hasp hl 3.25 <\/b>and enable the <i>Connect (Disconnect from host)<\/i> option.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p>This will cause the hardkey to be acknowledged in the virtual machine, but not in the actual machine. To display an icon standing for the hardkey in the VMWare status bar, you can enable <i>Show Icon in Status Bar<\/i> option.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/04.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"374\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p><b>2. Using the same hardkey in both the virtual and the actual machines via network <\/b><\/p>\n<p>To have the hardkey detected in the actual machine again, click on <i>Disconnect (Connect from host)<\/i> option at the virtual machine&#8217;s <b>Virtual Machine&#8211;Removable Devices&#8211;aladdin Knowledge hasp hl 3.25<\/b> menu.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/05.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p>If the E3Admin and the E3Studio are both open in the actual machine, you must close them and then reopen the E3Studio. Then, in the virtual machine&#8217;s E3Studio, open the <i>Connect to<\/i> option at <b>File <\/b>menu, choose <i>Use license from a specific server<\/i> option at <b>Studio use license<\/b>, and then write the name of the actual machine.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/06.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"390\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p>This will cause the hardkey to be detected in the actual machine, but used by the virtual machine via network and E3Studio.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"372\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p><b>3. Using different hardkeys in both the virtual and the actual machines <\/b><\/p>\n<p>After connecting other hardkey in the computer, in the virtual machine&#8217;s E3Studio, open <b>File&#8211;Connect to<\/b> option and select <i>Retrieve license from current Domain server<\/i> at <b>Studio use license<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/pt-br\/images\/3950EN\/08.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"370\" align=\"Baseline\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p>At the virtual machine, access <b>Virtual Machine&#8211;Removable Devices<\/b>, where two options called aladdin Knowledge hasp hl 3.25 will be available, and enable one of them by clicking <i>Connect (Disconnect from host)<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Done!
