If you chose to communicate via modem, you will have to force new settings on the hardware preferences. To do so, go to Windows Control Panel and choose the item Phone and Modem Options.<\/strong> A window will be open; go to Modems<\/strong> tab, select the modem to communicate, and then click the Properties<\/strong> button. After that, a new window will opened, where you must choose the Advanced<\/strong> tab. Finally, click the Change default preferences<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0On General<\/strong> tab, choose 9600 <\/i>in Port speed<\/strong>
