To communicate using a USB cable, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">you must use either a Prodave <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">driver <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">or OPC communication<\/span>;\u00a0 when using Prodave,<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> you will need to have Siemens&#8217; software installed<\/span>. This happens because the Elipse driver can&#8217;t communicate directly with the PLC, and it will therefore need to ask the software, which will in turn will communicate with the PLC.
