How can I change the name of an E3Browser’s columns?<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two ways to do so:<\/p>\n

Via E3Studio:<\/p>\n

Just access E3Browser<\/span>‘s properties and click Set up<\/span> button on Query <\/span>tab. On the Query’s window, on Fields <\/span>tab, make sure the text is edited directly on Title <\/span>column. To check and save these changes, run the query on Visualize <\/span>tab. To make sure the changes are not lost, make sure the window has been closed via OK <\/span>button.<\/div>\n

NOTE<\/span>: Since they are reserved words, E3TimeStamp and ActorID <\/span>columns, once renamed, must have their names between brackets!
\nExample<\/span>: [DateTime] and [User]<\/div>\n

At runtime:<\/span><\/p>\n

After using RetrieveE3QueryFields()<\/span> method to reload the Query’s columns, you must access the fields via E3Browser<\/span>‘s Fields <\/span>collection. Once this is done, just edit the desired fields (making sure a new name is attributed to the old one), and then run E3Browser<\/span>‘s Requery()<\/span> method. For example:<\/p>\n
