{"id":1612,"date":"2019-03-25T17:35:52","date_gmt":"2019-03-25T20:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/xexeu.elipse.com.br\/pt\/kb34288-rotating-screen-objects\/"},"modified":"2025-09-23T15:02:02","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T18:02:02","slug":"kb34288-rotating-screen-objects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/en\/kb34288-rotating-screen-objects\/","title":{"rendered":"KB-34288: Rotating screen objects."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Question:<\/span><br style=\"font-weight: bold;\" \/>How can screen objects rotate?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Solution:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To do so, there are two possibilities (via <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">E3Studio<\/span>):<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">A) <\/span>Select the object to be animated, click the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Rotation Slider<\/span> button, and create a link on the object&#8217;s Value property with a tag (variable).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">B) <\/span>Link the object&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Width <\/span>and <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">X <\/span>properties as explained below:<br \/>\n&#8211; Create a simple link between <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Width <\/span>property of the object to be animated and a demo tag.<br \/>\n&#8211; Create a simple link in the object&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">X <\/span>property: <span style=\"font-family: Courier New;\">Width &#8211; (Data.Animation2.Value) + 5811<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Where:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Width<\/span>: sets the object&#8217;s width.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Data.Animation2.Value<\/span>: RampUpDown tag whose maximum variation is equal to the width of the object where the link is.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">5811<\/span>: value of X property of the object where the link is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><br style=\"font-weight: bold;\" \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Notes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On option A, the object rotates like a clock.<\/li>\n<li>On option B, it simulates the rotation of a mixer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attached to this object is a sample application developed with E3 v. 3.5 build 346 that presents both cases described above.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Attachments:<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Rotation.zip\">Rotation<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question:How can screen objects rotate?
