Is it possible to change applications running in Hot-Standby<\/strong> mode? What is the best way to perform this?<\/p>\n

Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, it is possible to perform any change. To do so, it is recommended to follow these procedures:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Copy all files (*.dom, *.prj, *.lib, etc.) from the application running in Hot-Standby<\/strong> mode to a third computer, with E3 Studio installed.<\/li>\n
  2. Perform all changes needed, and then save the application.<\/li>\n
  3. Close E3 Studio and copy all application files to both computers running in Hot-Standby<\/strong> mode (overwriting the existing files).<\/li>\n
  4. In any computer running in Hot-Standby<\/strong> mode, right-click the E3 Admin icon, in Windows Notification Area, and then select the option Domain – Refresh<\/strong>). Thus, application files on both computers are updated!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    By performing the previous steps, the system keeps running and the application update is performed, without loosing Hot-Standby functionalities and system operation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
