What could have happened? Can a full HD cause recognition errors in a hardkey or softkey? How can I fix it?<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Solution:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Version control in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elipse.com.br\/en\/produto\/elipse-e3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elipse E3<\/a> happens safely via a USB device (hardkey) or a software key (softkey). This equipment will control the software versions applied to each situation; it ensures that not only the version that is more suitable for each case will always be employed, but also that clients with older versions can upgrade to the latest one.<\/p>\n<p>In order to install Elipse E3 properly, you need to make sure the version currently being used is compatible with the version programmed in the hardkey; otherwise, the software will only open in Demo mode. For any questions regarding the version you&#8217;ve purchases, please contact Elipse Software&#8217;s tech support and inform the code in your hardkey.<\/p>\n<p>The issue described in this article may have been caused by lack of space in the hard drive. A full HD could cause recognition errors for the hardkey or the softkey. In this case, the following message appears in eLic&#8217;s log (Elipse License Manager):<\/p>\n<pre>eLicHaspLib.Exceptions.HaspSrmException: Hasp SRM operation failed (CorruptStorage)<\/pre>\n<p>This indicates the the HASP driver can&#8217;t detect the key due to corruption in the file.<\/p>\n<p>To retrieve the key, the first step is to free up some space in the HD. Then, you must reinstall the HASP drivers, as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Unzip <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elipse.com.br\/downloads\/?key=hkcustomer&#038;language=ptbr\">HKCustomer<\/a> (latest version available for download at Elipse Software&#8217;s website) into a folder. A new folder called <strong>Drivers<\/strong> will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Then, you must execute (with administrator&#8217;s credentials) the &#8220;ForceRemove.bat&#8221; file in <strong>Drivers<\/strong> folder.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, use the administrator&#8217;s credentials to execute the &#8220;Install.bat&#8221; file in the <strong>Drivers<\/strong> folder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: The softkey\/hardkey is not being recognized after an update attempt.
