{"id":12737,"date":"2021-12-08T08:39:47","date_gmt":"2021-12-08T11:39:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/en\/?p=12737"},"modified":"2021-12-08T08:39:47","modified_gmt":"2021-12-08T11:39:47","slug":"setting-up-commands-and-interlocks-with-plantmodel-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/en\/setting-up-commands-and-interlocks-with-plantmodel-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Setting up a command and an interlock with PlantModel library."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This article illustrates how to set up a command and an <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/en\/?s=interlock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interlock<\/a> with PlantModel library.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Setting up a command<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In order to set up a command with PlantModel library in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elipse.com.br\/en\/produto\/elipse-e3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elipse E3<\/a>, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<p>1. Firstly, find the object to which you want to add the command. Then, add a command folder com PlantModel library, as seen below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12275 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/1_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"command interlock PlantModel library\" width=\"1092\" height=\"754\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. After that, add and name the command units from inside the folder, as in the example below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12276 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/2_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"command interlock PlantModel library\" width=\"1106\" height=\"778\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Finally, add the units (that is, the types of command it can issue) from inside the command, as in the figure below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12277 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/3_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"command interlock PlantModel library\" width=\"1098\" height=\"798\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Property settings in the command unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>WriteTag<\/strong>: I\/O tag that will receive the command;<\/li>\n<li><strong>WriteValue<\/strong>: value sent to this command tag;<\/li>\n<li>Optionally: to write bits instead of values\/words, you can set up <strong>UseDirectBit<\/strong> property as TRUE to enable bit write, and <strong>DirectBit <\/strong>property as the bit to receive the value in <strong>WriteValue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12278 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/4_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"452\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Setting up an interlock<\/h3>\n<p>Always add the interlock right below the object you wish to interlock\/block; therefore, to interlock\/not allow a command to turn on a device that has already been turned on, you can add an interlock right below this command, in order to monitor this device&#8217;s status. If it&#8217;s turned on, you can block the command.<\/p>\n<p>With this information, we can set up the interlock as seen below:<\/p>\n<p>1. Firstly, we will add the interlock folder right below the command we wish to interlock; in this example, we&#8217;ll use the turn on command:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12279 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/5_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1346\" height=\"810\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. Then, add an interlock inside the interlocks folder, as in the example below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12280 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/6_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1346\" height=\"832\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. After that, we&#8217;ll set up the interlock to block turning on the device when it&#8217;s already on. To do so, set up the properties as in the figure below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12273 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/kb.elipse.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/7_12258EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"423\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The <strong>ComparisonOperator<\/strong> property informs how <strong>Value<\/strong> and <strong>ComparisonValue <\/strong>compare to each other. Possible values are:<br \/>\n0 \u2013 Equal ; 1 &#8211; Different ; 2 &#8211; Less than ; 3 &#8211; More than ; 4 \u2013 Equal or less than ; 5 &#8211; Equal or more than.<\/p>\n<p>4.
