Can I use Remote Domains via Internet?
Solution:
Yes, you can. To do so, you must either unblock the 6515 port in the Windows Firewall or completely disable it. Keep in mind that that you must have a good Internet connection in order to not compromise the application’s performance.
However, please notice that the default parameterization of remote domains (as well as REC protocol in general) is not suitable for WAN, only for LANs. Check network’s performance/quality, and follow the instructions from Network Settings in Elipse E3 for networks with high latency, low bandwidth and/or packet loss.
