KB-29727: Creating a chronometer with E3 version 2.5.

Question:

How can I create a chronometer with E3 version 2.5?

Solution:

To do so, you must use a Demo Tag and an Internal Tag.

First, you must configure the Demo Tag's properties:

- Type to Square, Sine or RampUpDown;
- Period to 2000ms;
- Scan to 1000ms or less.

After that, you have to create a user's event on the Demo Tag configuring its value as the expression and checking the Always when property/expression changes its value option, in addition to setting the Internal Tag's value to be itself plus one. Thus, the Internal Tag's value will be incremented by one unity per second.
